Free PMP Flash Cards

As you prepare for the PMP exam, you may notice that there are many resources available to help you pass. From PMP training materials, exam questions, formula sheets, and more, PMP flash card app options have also been proven to be an important resource for your prep routine. You might even be able to find free PMP flash cards (we’ve included some here).

Flash cards can be very helpful when attempting to memorize material you have already covered. Preparing for the PMP is a long process, especially if you already work full-time. The average amount of time it takes to prepare for your PMP exam is around six months. This is a long stretch of time, and you want to make your study plan as effective as possible.

As you study for the PMP exam, you will learn many new formulas, concepts, topics, and more. While you are absorbing this new information, you must keep previously studied concepts fresh in your mind. You can take notes as you review materials, utilize cheat sheets, and make the most of flashcards to help you be as prepared as possible. A PMP flash cards app can help. You may even be able to find PMP flash cards online free.  Some education providers also provide free trials that include quite a few free PMP practice questions.

In this article, we will cover what PMP flash cards are, as well as provide tips on how to best use them.

PMP Exam Flash Cards

You might be asking yourself, what exactly are PMP exam flash cards? These are usually two-sided cards that are used to help prepare. On one side of the flash card, there will be a topic, term, or formula from the PMP exam study guide. On the opposite side of the card, you will find the explanation/answer on the first side. PMP flash cards are a great way to prepare on the go, on your commute to work, or even to cram before the exam.

Next, we will explore what sample flash cards look like.

Sample PMP Flash Card – Front Face

For example, a sample flash card may read “what are the process groups of project management?”. You will then try to answer the question before flipping the card over to reveal the correct answer. This will help you to train your brain to know what questions to expect and possible answers that align with the related prompts.

Sample Flash Card – Back Face

After you have practiced memorizing the concept and/or answering the question on the front of each card, you can turn it over to the back and see the answer. The number of PMP exam flash cards can vary depending on two factors. These factors include the provider of the cards as well as the size of the knowledge area. For instance, if the cost management knowledge area covers more content than the stakeholder knowledge area, we can expect to see additional PMP exam flash cards for this area in order to cover everything necessary for the exam.

5 Sample Flash Cards

For your convenience, we have created five sample flash cards you can use to study. You will notice that when you hover on the card it will flip and you see the answer to the question on the front of the card. You will likely see similar flashcards from a PMP flash card online simulation. Use these cards as a template for inspiration as you create your own flash cards, or to get a better idea of what to expect from a downloadable deck.

PMP Flash Cards Online Free

It is typical for flash cards to be sold in a box, similar to a board game. You can often order them online and have them delivered straight to your location. However, you can now use online application tools for free to make the process easier. You can search on the App and Google Play store to see flash card apps that are free for installation. Be careful though, because some apps will not be current or up-to-date enough to help you prepare fully.

The PDF Form

PDF PMP flash cards are no different than a PDF file you have saved to your desktop computer before. The difference between the PDF version and pre-printed PMP exam flashcards is that you will have to print out the PDF file and then cut and organize them in order to craft them into flash cards. This will be more work, but you will be able to access the information for free.

In the PMP flash card app, you will find concepts or questions about the PMP exam on one side of the paper, with the definition right next to it. Once you download the sample flash cards PDF file, you can cut the paper into two pieces to help you study. Start by picking up cards and memorizing the topics to get ahead of your study plan. Be sure to keep note of the cards you need to go back to and review in your next study session.

Once you get to the final pages of your PMP study and your exam date draws near, you will likely find that the flash cards have helped you to memorize the concepts you needed to in order to pass.

We hope this article helps you in your journey to becoming more prepared to pass your PMP exam and advance your career in the world of project management. We recommend you look for a download of some flash cards to get your preparation process rolling.
